The Beneteau Evasion 37 "ALGOL" is a well-proven and much admired cruising ketch.The Evasion 37 is a motorsailer with the emphasis on sail. She has internal and external steering positions and benefits from Beneteau's sailing boat design heritage.
These boats tick a lot of boxes and were built in an era of substantial mouldings. A lot of boat for the money and well maintained with a good broad specification.

Hull, deck & superstructure
The Beneteau Evasion 37 is a GRP motor sailor with fin keel, internal and external steering positions and a central cockpit with raised aft deck.
- Cream (gelcoat) GRP hull.
- Deck - Side decks and foredeck in cream non-slip GRP. The raised aft deck, and cockpit is laid with teak.
- Substantial iron fin keel.
- Skeg hung singe rudder.
- Wheel steering internally and externally.
- Unwater hull epoxied from new.
- Hull soda blasted back to epoxy winter 2010 and coated with two further coats of epoxy before being primed and antifouled.
- Hull taken back to primer again in 2020.

- The L shaped galley is aft to port, opposite the internal steering position. It is at the entrance to the corridor leading to the aft cabins.
